Meditation and Resilience Retreat

Meditation stills the mind, and that means letting go of thoughts, and with them our anger, resentment, egotism and other such little… irritations? of life. In active life, however, we do have to think. That is the time for clarity – knowing how to think clearly about how we respond to the irritations of life, rather than with thinking that leads to ego-centred reactions such as anger, resentment. Meditators need to learn to think in such a way that leads to resilience, along with their practice of stillness.
